Cost of Moving Up - Second Round

As for moving up in the second round, the cost seems to be at least a fourth rounder from that same draft. Here are two example from the 2010 draft:

______________________

To LAK
2010 second round pick (#47-Tyler Toffoli)

To COL
2010 second round pick (#49-Calvin Pickard)
2010 fourth round pick (#109-Alex Theriau)

Moving up 2 spots in the mid second round cost LA a middling fourth rounder.

______________________

To MIN
2010 second round pick (#59-Jason Zucker)

To FLA
2010 third round pick (#69-Joe Basaraba)
2010 fourth round pick (#99-Joonas Donskoi)

Moving up 10 spots into the bottom of the second round cost MIN a mid-high fourth rounder.
