Top UFA Centers by TOI/GP

Its slim pickings this year, with only one legitimate first line center availabe...Brad Richards of course. I listed below those that played at least 13 minutes a game.

Richards, Brad »31DAL21.721.069
Belanger, Eric »33PHO17.330.488
Handzus, Michal »34LAK17.330.366
Reasoner, Marty »34FLA17.150.390
Connolly, Tim »30BUF16.90.618
Morrison, Brendan »35CGY16.680.652
Goc, Marcel »27NAS16.030.471
Fiddler, Vernon »31PHO15.530.310
Arnott, Jason »36WAS15.520.425
Madden, John »38MIN15.330.329
Gordon, Boyd »27WAS13.030.150

There are some interesting 2nd/3rd line possibilities with several good years in front of them including Tim Connolly, Vern Fiddler, Marcel Goc and Boyd Gordon. With the exception of Connolly, this group makes its living on non-powerplay TOI, which is important to teams who have loaded PPs and would rather give a boost to their even strength play.

Fiddler is the the most sturdy and chippy of these four but his Pts/GP is relatively weak. If more points are important, Goc maybe the best choice because of his mix of ES point production, two-way play, ability to play on the second line in a pinch, history of mostly good health (save last season) and whats expected to be a cap hit of less than $2.5M.
